I reside in Dallas, OR with my wife June. I was born in Whittier, CA in 1954. My family was part of a small fellowship of believers there. In 1965, we moved to Modesto, CA where my maternal grandparents lived and became part of a larger fellowship of believers.

In December 1968, I made a public confession of faith and was baptized into Jesus Christ. I have wonderful memories as a child and young adult going to Sunday meetings, Bible studies, singings and fellowship in the homes of saints. I am so thankful for the blessing of a godly heritage.

It was in the Modesto fellowship where I met June, and we were married in 1973.

In 1977, June and I decided to leave California and moved to Dallas, OR where there was another small like-minded fellowship.

God’s plan for our family began in 1985 when we adopted Dinah (newborn). Then in 1987 we adopted Kevin (3 months); they are biological siblings. In 2003, we adopted biological sisters, Cheridy and Tia, who were 12 and 9 years old at the time.

We first met Richard and Julie McDaniel in the late 1990’s and attended a SFMI conference in Rathdrum, ID about the same time. It was not until 2009 that the Lord reacquainted us with the SFMI family for which we are very thankful.

We are part of Bible Family Fellowship that meets weekly in the Willamette Valley. Gen 49:10; Col 1:18.
