I woke with the thought that it is the goodness of God that brings people to repentance. Oh, may people see (recognize) the Goodness of God. Even for that we need God’s help to see correctly.
Concerning Cameroon and the brethren there, we have continued our online Zoom meetings with them teaching through the Bible every Monday. We have some new people joining us, which has also been a great blessing. We encourage much input and get many questions. It seems to be a great format for our long-distance relationship. Of course, this is also with the help of Stephen and Samuel from the Nigeria side and our faithful Brother, Victor Loiler, here in the States.
Our ongoing hope is that we would be able to make the opportunity for training in Cameroon available on a more frequent basis. The cost to have a training program in another country is quite high, but this living together added another great component of Church life. We were forced to work through difficulties and love one another more fully.
Stephen is working on a documentary from our time there, including the testimonies of those who went through the training, so that we can share online and with other brethren there. From the testimonies, the training program was a success. One effect of our time there is that many could see our genuine heart for their good and to dispel the idea that we wanted to lord over them. Most of the believers who came for training are from many areas scattered throughout Cameroon.
